My name is Zoe and I spent the 10 years following highschool (yep, we’re starting there) as a retail store manager. The last 9.5 years of which, I spent absolutely hating it. I just didn’t know what else to do, so I kept myself entertained by travelling overseas when I could and moving from Melbourne to Perth. Then moving back to Melbourne. Then moving back to Perth... 

Finally a global pandemic came along, granting me the opportunity to be stuck inside, with the sudden realisation that I had very few hobbies which didn’t involve craft beer or walking the dog. I picked up a paintbrush for the first time in a long time, and after I’d covered a canvas or five, I thought ‘hey, maybe I could do something like this for a living?’ Soon enough, I was enrolled in Graphic Design at North Metropolitan TAFE.

Since then, I’ve grown exponentially as a creative and found passion for designing in ways I never expected, all whilst solidifying my love for having a paintbrush in hand and my dog by my side.

Now, having moved back home to Melbourne (fourth time’s the charm?), I’m eager to continue developing my skills and advancing my creative journey as a professional designer.
